DBSTC temporarily closes during new school building construction
Dear DBSTC Friends,
We hope you have been enjoying your summer and getting in play time on the DBSTC courts.
The time has arrived for the construction phase of the new school building project to begin. The overall building plan requires the DBSTC courts to be relocated from their current spot. With this, the courts will be closed during construction as of September 1st.
The new tennis courts are scheduled to be completed early spring 2021. Know that the DBSTC will work together and Town of Westport in planning a re-dedication of the new courts in honor and memory of Dianne.
We want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your continued support since we joined back in the Fall of 2003 with the mission of providing a beautiful tennis environment for all here in Westport MA. THANK YOU for enjoying these courts, and we look forward to seeing you back on the new tennis courts in 2021!
Stay tuned for news of upcoming tennis programs -- the DBSTC is actively working with the Westport Recreation Department to plan programs during this court venue hiatus.
In the meantime, now’s the time to “play more” tennis – through August 31, 2019. See you on the courts!!!
Friends of the Dianne B. Snyder Tennis Complex
All clinics are limited to 10 participants, so clinics are first come first serve. Due to this, you must register and pay in advance for us to hold your spot. This policy will be strictly enforced.
Clinic sessions are not necessarily consecutive weeks. Session dates are determined by weather and instructor availability. If a participant is unable to attend a session due to a conflict in their schedule it is not DBSTC’s responsibility to provide them with a makeup session.
If a session is cancelled, then it will be made up at a time that works for the majority of participants, i.e. it may not be on the day or at the time slot stated on the registration form.
We appreciate your understanding! If you have questions or concerns, please contact Lisa at 508-646-8111 or email .
